Significant Amendments to the Regulation on Shopping Malls

Significant amendments have recently been introduced to the Regulation on Shopping Malls through the Regulation Amending the Regulation on Shopping Malls, published by the Ministry of Trade in the Official Gazette dated 8 May 2025 and numbered 32894.

The amendments introduce new legal obligations concerning the permitting, operation and financial transparency of shopping malls, including updates to definitions, building permit requirements, and reporting and audit obligations related to common expenses.
