Decisions Adopted at the Meeting No. 359 of the Advertisement Board

The Advertisement Board, at its 359th meeting held on July 10, 2025, adopted significant decisions concerning advertisements and commercial practices falling within the scope of consumer protection legislation.

The Board’s evaluations at this session particularly focused on practices likely to mislead consumers through unsubstantiated health-related claims on food supplement packaging, inaccurate technical statements in automotive advertisements, expired or insufficiently informative promotional campaigns, and superiority claims lacking scientific basis. The Board emphasized that such practices may directly distort consumers’ economic decision-making processes and underlined the necessity for advertisers to provide transparent, verifiable, and legally compliant information.
