New Standarts for Healthcare Promotion
Following the publication of the Regulation on Promotion and Information Activities in Health Services in the (“Regulation”) in the Official Gazette by the Ministry of Health, comprehensive and binding rules governing promotional and informational practices in healthcare services have entered into effect. The Regulation introduces significant restrictions on advertising-oriented activities, sets clear standards for digital communication, strengthens patient privacy protections, and imposes detailed obligations on healthcare institutions, professionals, and international health tourism operators.
The Regulation is expected to substantially reshape the current operational and compliance framework applicable to all stakeholders engaged in healthcare communication, both domestically and in the field of international health tourism.
