Information Note on the Law Proposals related to AI

Over the past months, several legislative proposals have been submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, envisaging amendments to various laws in relation to artificial intelligence technologies. These proposals aim to address emerging risks associated with AI-generated content, particularly in areas such as deepfake materials, digital manipulation, personality rights, and data protection.

Accordingly, the proposed amendments introduce new obligations and a reinforced liability regime for content providers, social media platforms, and digital service providers, alongside strengthened administrative sanctions.
