Decisions Adopted at the Meeting No. 364 of the Advertisement Board
The Advertisement Board, at its 364th meeting held on December 11, 2025, adopted significant decisions concerning advertisements and commercial practices falling within the scope of consumer protection legislation.
The Board’s evaluations at this session particularly focused on advertising and commercial practices that may mislead consumers through inaccurate discount representations, misleading pre-discount price claims, unsubstantiated campaign statements, comparative advertisements creating a perception of superiority, misleading outdoor advertisements, and unauthorized or demand-generating promotional activities in the healthcare sector. The Board emphasized that such practices may directly distort consumers’ economic decision-making processes and underlined the necessity for advertisers to provide clear, transparent, verifiable, and legally compliant information.
