Public Announcement on VERBİS Registration Deadline

According to the public announcement published by the Personal Data Protection Authority, the deadline for fulfilling VERBİS registration and notification obligations has been extended until Friday, 5 June 2026 for corporate taxpayer legal entity data controllers whose 2025 financial balance sheet totals exceed the thresholds set out under the Personal Data Protection Board’s Decision numbered 2018/87, as amended by Decision No. 2025/1572 dated 4 September 2025, thereby resulting in VERBİS registration obligations.

The extension aims to prevent potential grievances arising from the overlap of the final week of the 30-day registration period with the public holiday period.
