Employers' Data Protection Training Obligation in Türkiye


In an era where data breaches and cyber threats are rampant, safeguarding sensitive information has become a paramount concern for businesses worldwide.

 

Article 12 of the Personal Data Protection Law, and guidelines and decisions of the Turkish Data Protection Authority explicitly mandate data controllers to take necessary technical and administrative measures for data protection and providing regular data protection training to employees stands out as a foundational pillar of the administrative measures.
