Amendment Decision on the Determination of Independent Audit Criteria

The Presidential Decision dated April 5, 2024 and numbered 8313 on the Amendment to the Decision on the Determination of Companies Subject to Independent Audit (“Decision”) was published in the Official Gazette dated April 6, 2024 and numbered 32512. 

As per the Amendment Decision, the monetary criteria applied to the determination of independent audit have been increased, and media service providers that have on-demand broadcasting rights on the Internet, companies that have obtained a licence, certificate or authorisation certificate from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority, payment and electronic money institutions, and state economic enterprises and their subsidiaries shall be subject to independent audit without any monetary limits.
